Women's Initiative: Supporting Women in Leadership

Women's Initiative: Supporting Women in Leadership
In education, the teacher workforce is make up of over 77% women, yet only 30% of superintendents in New York State are women. The goal of the initiative is to support women leaders, identify women in education who have leadership potential and help those women to aspire to leadership roles. We encourage all members (male & female) to support and cultivate the leadership potential of women in their organizations.

This program will address leadership issues related to women and will provide an opportunity for women to share stories, make connections and network. Topics include building connections and confidence; the critical importance of self-care; first year superintendents perspectives; and passing it forward with intentionality.

Cost: $259 per person includes reception, breakfast, lunch, break and program materials. All payments/purchase orders should be directed to the Otsego Northern Catskills BOCES. Aidable through Otsego Northern Catskills BOCES.
